Well, I did something previously unimaginable: I paid for an account. *beat, as

than most of the new arrivals this century.

And Dr. Entropy, who had the good sense to quote me in his .sig and keep me
within search radar range in Google Groups all this time.

I didn't expect half the groups I used to frequent to be totally empty and
devoid of life, however. Yipe.

Indeed. But it gets worse. Tim Skirvin has installed himself and a
panel of toadies as Head of the Big Eight (we call them the Bambis)
and his first order of business was to give the Vjikings their own
moderated ng where practicing asatruar may post anything they wish and
non-practicing asatruar may only post good things about asatru.

Romath was in AUK last year and NO ONE knew who she was.

And I'll bet that drove her bug-buggering insane, too.
